We are very pleased and proud to share these results of our Trekker program with all of you. First and foremost, we have to say a huge thank you to Erika Schwartz for counting cards and compiling these numbers! As you can see and have probably heard, Hopi students are really embracing this program! Please note the percentage of student participation, especially at the 1st and 2nd grade levels! We are always hopeful that this commitment shown by our students will encourage a few more giving parents to become a volunteer for this popular program! We can always use more help - just ask the parents who were brave enough already to lend a hand! It really is fun for the kids to see you and the volunteer work is pretty easy. We have already had some amazing, motivated, and fun parent helpers out there cheering on our Hopi hikers! Don't miss out on all the fun! Thanks for your support and consideration!
Sincerely, Tim Marriott

We're so excited to tell you about our major fundraiser this fall, the Apex Fun Run! Apex Fun Run is a local company and will be on campus for 2 weeks teaching our students about leadership and fitness. During the Apex Fun Run, students will be challenged to get pledges for the laps they will run on Fun Run Day, Thursday November 17th. Funds raised this year will be used to pay for classroom materials and general school improvements. Please look for more info about the program and ways to support our school as we get closer to the event.

We are especially grateful to our Trekker chairpersons, Erika Schwartz, Nikki Esse and Michelle Ganz, for helping to launch this program. There are plenty of opportunities for you to help, check out the sign up genius on the PTA website. Trekkers ends on December 13th so be sure to get on board and come help out.
