You will be assessed on these novel(s) sometime during the first two weeks of school. Please have your books read before school starts. If you enrolled at the beginning of the school year, a testing date will be set by your teacher.

English I – Choose ONE of the following novels:

5. Steve Jobs: The Man Who Thought Different by Karen Blumenthal
 
English I Honors – Read #1, #2, and #3 of the English I novels.
 
SOPHOMORES
English II – Choose ONE of the following novels:
1. Long Way Gone by Ishmael Beah
2. I Am the Messenger by Markus Zusak
3. Man Made Boy by Jon Skovron
 
English II Honors –Read ALL of the following novels (4 total). ENGLISH II HONORS STUDENTS MUST join the English II Remind page. Text 81010 and enter @grammarluv in the message box. You will be updated with specific selections for book #3.
1. Eat, Shoots & Leaves by Lynne Truss
2. Doctor Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson
