Arcadia High School to Host Annual Agora Event
March 23, 2017, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

WHAT: Arcadia High School’s annual Agora Arts Festival

WHO: Students and staff from Arcadia High School, Ingleside Middle School, Arcadia Neighborhood Learning Center (ANLC), Tavan and Hopi Elementary schools, and community members

WHEN: March 23, 2017, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

WHERE: Arcadia High School, 4703 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix

ADDITIONAL INFO: Agora is the ancient Greek word for "gathering place.” This free, annual community event showcases artwork by Arcadia, Ingleside, ANLC, Tavan and Hopi students. Handmade items will be available for sale. Proceeds will benefit Free Arts of Arizona, the state’s only non-profit organization that delivers no-cost, creative and therapeutic arts programs to children ages 3 to 21 who have faced abuse, neglect and homelessness. This year’s Agora activities include:

  • Street art spray-paint demo

  • Photo booth

  • Henna tattoos, face painting, interactive pottery wheel

  • Food by Fantasy Funnel Cakes, Mr. Martz Food Truck, Broke Brothers Catering

    Arcadia High School’s CMAS (Creative Musical Arts & Sciences) program Arcadia Theatre Improv
    Arcadia Dance – Teen Titans
    Arcadia Jazz Ensemble
